कभी कभी शब्द मौन कर Sometimes, silencing the words you speak,

अनहद नाद सुनो Listen to the unstrung, endless mystic sound,

प्रकृति का संगीत सुनो।‌ Listen to the music of nature all around.

अरुणोदय ‌पर प्राची‌ की लालिमा में ‌सुस्वागत‌ शहनाई ‌सुनो In the crimson dawn of the east, hear the welcoming shehnai,

नदी की‌ कलकल‌ में बांसुरी का राग सुनो In the murmuring river, hear the flute's sweet lullaby,

पक्षियों के कलरव में ‌राग विहाग ‌सुनो In the chirping of birds, hear the melodies of Raga Vihag take flight,

झरनों ‌की‌ खरताल ‌सुनो Hear the rhythmic khartal in the waterfalls bright,

सघन‌ ‌पत्तों‌ की करताल सुनो Hear the cymbals crashing in the dense, swaying trees,

पावस में मेघों की मल्हार ‌सुनों और मेघ‌ -मयूर की सुर -ताल सुनो In the monsoon, hear the clouds sing Malhar, and the peacock's rhythm in the breeze,

प्रकृति का संगीत सुनो। Listen to the music of nature all around.

झील पोखर ‌की‌ निरव ‌तान सुनो Hear the silent melodies of the ponds and the lakes,

गिरी शिखर का‌‌ यशोगान सुनो Hear the hymns of glory that the mountain peak makes,

नदी में नौका की छपकियां ‌सुनो Hear the splashing of oars as the boat glides along,

निर्मल ‌पवन‌ की‌ थपकियां ‌सुनों Hear the gentle pats of the wind's pure song,

उठती गिरती‌ लहरों ‌के ढोल ‌मंजिरें ‌सुनो Hear the drums and bells in the waves that rise and fall,

पवन- ‌पतवार‌ का हमजोली ‌गान‌ सुनो Hear the harmonious duet of the wind and the oar's call,

प्रकृति का संगीत सुनो। Listen to the music of nature all around.

वसुधा के आंचल में खेलती ‌हरीतिमा‌ ‌की‌ किलकारियां ‌सुनो Hear the giggles of greenery playing in the earth's embrace,

खेत खलिहानों ‌की‌ दानी पुकार ‌सुनो Hear the bountiful calls of the fields and the harvest space,

गोधूली में ‌गौवंश‌ की रम्भाई में वात्सल्य ‌का राग सुनो In the twilight mooing of cows, hear the raga of motherly grace,

तरू शाखाओं के हिलोरों में लोरी ‌गान‌‌ सुनो In the swaying of branches, hear a lullaby's sweet trace,

वन उपवन की‌ खिलकारियों में ‌जीवन का राग सुनो In the blooming of forests and gardens, hear the raga of life unfold,

गिरते‌‌ पीले‌ पत्तों ‌में वैराग्य का‌ गान‌ सुनो In the falling of yellow leaves, hear the song of detachment told,

प्रकृति ‌का‌‌ संगीत ‌सुनो। Listen to the music of nature all around.

रजनी ‌की चुनड़ी ‌में जड़ें ‌चांद‌ तारों की‌ बादलों ‌के साथ आंख मिचौली ‌अटखेलियां सुनो Hear the playful hide-and-seek of the moon, stars, and clouds in the night's starry veil,

क्षितिज ‌की सीमाएं ‌‌लांघते‌‌ नभचरों‌‌ का ‌आजादी -आल्हाद ‌सुनो Hear the joyous freedom of birds crossing the horizon's trail,

प्रकृति का संगीत सुनो। Listen to the music of nature all around.

कभी कभी वट वृक्ष‌ तले पद्मासन लगा Sometimes, seated in a lotus pose beneath the banyan tree,

अपनी सांसों की‌ सरगम सुनो Hear the musical notes of your breath flowing free,

ह्रदय की वीणा सुनो Hear the gentle strumming of the heart's deep veena,

मन‌ की मधुर मुरली सुनो Hear the sweet flute of the mind's inner arena,

प्रकृति ‌का‌‌ संगीत ‌सुनो Listen to the music of nature all around,

सकल प्रकृति में जगत -प्रसुता का‌‌ आलौकिक अनुराग‌ सुनो In all of nature, hear the divine love of the mother of creation resound,
